HAPPY 2010 EVERYONE!

Yes, it is the time to begin again, setting those resolutions for weight loss.  Keeping closer track of the amount of calories we take in can help, but what do you do when you eat something, like a banana, that has no nutrition label?  Well, this is one reason I hate keeping track of calories, but I have decided to give it another try.  I have my wallet size food journal handy and will keep track of those calories.  I want to be more aware of the food I am eating.  I had a banana for breakfast this morning and didn't know how many calories were in it, so I knew I would be able to find that information on the internet.  One great website for looking up those calories is: thecaloriecounter.com.  I know there are many out there, but I love this one because if you are not into counting calories then count fat, or count carbs, it doesn't matter, all the information is right there.  Happy New Year to all of you and may this be a year of happiness and health.
